Erstelle doch mit M.I.B einfach ein Backup und teile das hier, dann kann ganz unkompliziert für die FW ein Patch erstellt werden.
Hat @miouser dir ja auch schon so vorgeschlagen.
Für ein reines Map Update reicht das 100%.

Ist ja nicht mein TT, aber wir werden die Operation am 4 Juni durchführen. Bei dem tollen Wetter hier in Südfrankreich, ist mein Freund zur Costa Brava gefahren.

Quick question: can I speak english? I'm natively Italian and I don't understand German.

However, I have an Audi TT 2015 TDI

Firmware version: MHI2_ER_AUG24_S1061
MU: 0229

HW: 8S0920790A

My car has:
1 Data Transfer Port, and 1 Port with a Phone Icon (I don't know what actually means)

I'm completely a noob as my only experience with tweaking is VCDS mods
I've read all the comments above to try to understand. I have some questions though
Why having a letter to the end of "8S0920790A" is good because of indexing? And what is INDEXING?

I've seen some of you actually have my same car/FW version (like @han-solo ), could you please list the steps I should do to have Carplay available?

For a 2015 TT you are lucky.

Cluster is with Index A - you can update cluster to fully support CarPlay AA.

Update to latest AU43x should also work. You have to change train in eeprom for this or edir metainfo to be able to update
 
So.. As written here, i downloaded all the FW i need. Do i need to install via "Red Menu" those firmwares?
 
am slowly understating the process (I am very careful as i purchased this car like a month ago, and I don't want to brick the unit). I want to THANK YOU for your amazing support.

However, once i updated those FW's, correct me if I'm wrong, do I need to:
  • Download "M.I.B_3.2.0_20220314.7z" from mibsolution
  • Extract "M.I.B_3.2.0_20220314"
  • Download "M.I.B_Patches_20220314.7z" from mibsolution
  • Extract "M.I.B_Patches_20220314.7z" , copy the folder "MHI2_ER_AU43x_P5098_MU1339_PATCH" and paste it into the folder "M.I.B_3.2.0_20220314/patches"
  • Put the whole folder M.I.B_3.2.0_20220314 into FAT32 32gb SDCard
  • Enter REM and perform update
  • Car will reboot itself
  • Enter Green Engineering Menu
  • Perform backup
  • Patch IFs

Do I miss something??

(My target is having Carplay enabled)

Not the folder itself, but the files within.
metainfo2.txt has to end up in SD root.

2 quick questions:
  • Can I enable Wireless CP? Or I need to use a dongle (like carlink)
  • I have cleared all the errors (especially for TPMS error), but there's still SVM error. Tryed to fix it going into M.I.B. --> Fix SVM, let it reboot and the error is still there, am I doing something wrong?

Hallo, sorry für die Anfängerfrage. Versuch, eine MIB2-Einheit von Audi TT in VW Golf 7 nachzurüsten. Derzeit läuft die Einheit auf MHI2_ER_AUG24_K1068_MU0364. Kann man das Gerät mit VW-Firmware flashen? Welche Firmware muss ich flashen?

Ich habe bei meinem Audi TT genau diesen Train verwendet und alles hat perfekt funktioniert. Was ich mich jedoch wundert, ist, dass die Subwoofer-Steuerung nun aufscheint, obwohl kein Subwoofer verbaut ist.

Ich habe das B&O Soundpaket und soweit ich es verstanden habe, wird mit den Updates nicht aktualisiert.
