Speed: 115200
com Port: findest du im Geräte Manager, sollte ein Serielles Gerät weit oben sein oder einfach durch probieren
dem Jumper auf dem uart dongle auf 3,3v stellen
Anschlüsse sollten gleich sein -bei mir hats geklappt-
Firmware update hatte ich nicht gemacht, war allerdings nicht ganz so alt bei mir trotz p version

Hello all,
After read this topic and others, I decide to activate navigation.
On my A1 2016, with rmc p16432, I connect on mmi with uart and send files with putty. I use the script in this topic.
But now my Mmi loop on welcomescreen and after 30 sec, it shutdown.
I think I do a wrong manipulation but now impossible to go in green or red menu for reflash the firmware.

With vcds, module 5f is not accessible too....
I'm blocked, the mmi seems not boot.
Is there a solution for flash the firm or the bootloader with uart?

Hi @elreydelaplaya, it looks like your RMC is not connected properly to your car, i think without CANBUS it reboots in a endless loop.

Thanks for the idea. How I check this ??
I try to connect again with uart and I have a message looks like this :
Can't open procman_core.cfg , don't exist
And an other about boot 16 bit.
I can check tomorrow

depends of your rmc hardware version
files from this archive Support - Audi RMC Navigation
if hw version 50 - 59:
cp -fV /sdc1/Map_activation_with_cp_off_rmc2/procman_core.cfg /etc/procman_core.cfg
if hw version < 61:
cp -fV /sdc1/Map_activation_with_cp_off_rmc4/procman_core.cfg /etc/procman_core.cfg
you will find the version on top of the rmc

I have rmc 4, H61

I send this file when I try to activate all. After "the crash" I try to resend backuped files but It doesn't works...

Tomorrow I try to put a screen of the message I have on putty.

I think I have delete the fso.bin and now mmi doesn t launch correctly.

Dann sind die kopierten Daten fehlerhaft, das kannst du easy wieder mit den Daten aus dem Backup beheben!

no procman_core.cfg file in your backup folder, do you see the file in your filemanager?

it's like sdcard is not seen by rmc

maybe it's not mounted under /sdc1/
try /sdd1/ or /sdb1/
if not work post pls summary of
ls -ahls /
you can also search the file
find / -maxdepth 4 -name 'procman_core.cfg'

no mount visible, but you can do:
cat <<EOF > /etc/procman_core.cfg # add here the content of your procman_core.cfg EOF
copy it in your clipboard and post in putty
basicly add cat <<EOF > /etc/procman_core.cfg as first line and EOF as last line in your procman_core, press ctrl+a, ctrl+c in putty ctrl+v and enter it will post the content in the file
if i remember me right the progman_core should not contain any binary data so it should work
edit: i fixed my typo
