I have a question that I can't find the answer to. How do you update the maps? The map files are simply stored in a certain path on the SD card?

Maps are stored on unit in NAND.
Update runs like FW update.

Hi - Just read all 11 pages along with various other documents and still stick to getting into the red engineering menu.

Software version: MHI2_ER_POG11_K4185 1119 on a 2017 Caymen 718 (MY18)

Is there a video somewhere that shows the procedure since I've tried the following without success

Tuner + car
Auto + menu
GPS + map + media
Volume + media
Car + media

I assume I missed a step. Is there something you need to do before pressing the buttons above? (Sorry for my German, it's Google's fault!

Thank you, I came to the SWDL menu with CAR + MEDIA. I can see a software update option in the menu, I assume that I will load new firmware and / or MIB from SDCARD in this way?

Is it even possible to get to the MIB / GEM menu after installation without using the ODBII dongle / software? (Tuner + Auto is currently not doing anything, will that change after installing the MIB?)

GEM will be enabled by M.I.B during installation.
And yes, you run M.I.B installation from that menu.

Do you already have Navigation enabled?

Great, yes, I installed navigation and car play from the factory. I want to update maps and see what else I can activate

I see the mention of Sport Chrono. If this is enabled in the software, will you get Sports + mode? * = (If so, how is it turned on / off?)

all Fecs will be enabled, not sure, what is based on coding to make it visible.
Normally, stuff just starts to work, as far as I have heard.

Okay, die Sport Chrono Werksoption fügt einen Drehschalter hinzu, der eine Sports + Motorkarte bereitstellt, ich werde es spielen und über die Ergebnisse berichten!

Außerdem habe ich, bevor ich diese Seite gefunden habe, eine Porsche SD-Karte mit einem Firmware-Update bestellt, um das Google Earth-Problem zu beheben (PN: 9P1919360AD). Würde diese über das SWDL-Menü aktualisiert?

Ich habe versucht herauszufinden, was die neueste Firmware-Version ist, könnten Sie die Namenskonvention erklären?

POG11 - ?? (Ist POG24 ein Update / kompatibel?)

Ich habe Pivis 2 und wollte mal fragen, ob ich das damit freischalten kann.
Kann ich mit Pivis 2 die gepatchten ifs-root-stage2 images einspielen? Wenn ja, habt ihr eine Anleitung?

Nein, kannst Du nicht.

Lies bitte nach wie man M.I.B. nutzt, mittlerweile kommt man komplett ohne Piwis aus. (Früher musst man damit nach dem Patch Einspielen noch codieren, das hat sich längst erledigt.).

Im Prinzip brauchst Du nur eine SD Karte.

Ist mibsolution.one ausgefallen? - Es hat vor ein paar Tagen funktioniert, aber jetzt kann ich Menüs durchsuchen, aber keine Dateien herunterladen (ich erhalte einen Netzwerkfehler auf zwei verschiedenen Notebooks und Netzwerken)
