Many thanks for the answer. Yesterday I tried reverting to the original FW by selecting "restore backup from unit to SD" - did I overwrite my backup with patched FW?

Das funktioniert so nicht. M.I.B sichert zwar einige kritische Systemdaten, ermöglich aber keine Rückkehr zu einer alten FW.

Bedeutet das, dass ich auf eine neue FW upgraden muss? Mache ich es über das Red Menu (SD-Karte auf FAT32 formatiert) und dann MIB (SD-Karte noch einmal auf FAT32 formatieren)? Danke!

Guten Tag,
Ich besitze einen Audi a4 B9 Baujahr 2016 die Software Version habe ich als Bild angehängt. Ich Habe MIB mit der aktuellsten Version auf dem Auto installiert. Habe alle schritte durchgeführt um aktuelle Karten zu updaten. Leider zeigt er mir immer an das er dann keine aktuellen Karten auf der SD Karte findet. Habe diese aber neu von VW herunter geladen und draufgezogen SD Karte ist normal formatiert worden in FAT32. Jetzt meine Frage liegt es daran das ich ein Software Update von meinem MMI machen muss.
Wenn ja funktioniert dies ohne den LAN Adapter und Putty?

Du musst einen MMI-Patch machen. Um die Karten weiter aktualisieren zu können und wenn Sie Auto, Android, Auto usw. spielen möchten, benötigen Sie keinen Kitt, das MIB-Tool über die SD-Karte kann alles.

Installieren Sie das MIB-Tool über das rote Menü. Wenn Sie das tun, gehen Sie zum grünen Menü, dann zum MIB-Tool ... Erstellen Sie zuerst ein Backup, gehen Sie dann zum IFs-Root-Patch und patchen Sie das Gerät. Wenn Sie das tun, wird mmi neu gestartet. Speichern Sie die Karte mit der Karte, stecken Sie sie in den ersten Steckplatz und gehen Sie zum Standard-Update
