Hat jemand nen Pi dann könnte Man mit dmesg schauen welcher USB Treiber verwendet wird beim Bone läuft ja musb vielleicht funktioniert es ja mit den ältern USB-Hub Treibern müsste man mal schauen ob im Pi auch der musb läuft oder ein anderer dann könnte man versuchen einen angepassten Kernel zu kompilieren

Hab ich mir fast gedacht im läuft ein broadcom Controller das gibt's die Endpoint Beschränkung offensichtlich nicht ,

Zur Quadmouse kann ich vermuten das der verbaute Controller in der Quadmouse die Endpoinds regelt und von Bone so als nur Ein Gerät erkannt wird das die Endpoint Info direkt von Controller der Quadmouse bezieht somit ist die Limitierung des Inventra hdrc controlles nicht greift also müsste man heraus finden welcher Chip in der Quadmouse für die Steuerung der Leser zuständig ist und herausfinden ob es einen Hub gibt der denselben Chip verbaut hat, alles andere wird wahrscheinlich nicht funktionieren da es ja eine hardwarebeschränkung des Bone ist.

Daher vermute ich das mit Easymouse uns Smargo und wie sie alle heißen leider nur 3 Geräte funktionieren werden

Musb Treiber im Kernel ausgecheckt und Standart USB Treiber funktioniert auch nicht, da wird kein USB Hub mehr erkannt.

Einzige Möglichkeit wäre sich im Beagleboard Rat zu holen um mehr als 4 USB Geräte zum laufen zu bringen

Das wäre noch ne Idee, kann mir ja kaum vorstellen dass die nur 3 Geräte ansprechen können (wollen) sowohl auch nur ein USB Port verbaut ist und nicht wie beim Raspi 2.
Eine Möglichkeit wäre noch mehrere Quadmäuse über Hub zu probieren. (die Frage ist ob man das vernünftig adressieren kann weil kein udef greift.

Ich bin auch noch gespannt, wie das beim Cubieboard2 ist, habe eins vor 2 Wochen bestellt in China.

Mehrere Quadmäuse am Hub sollten theoretisch gehen da die Addresierung durch den quadmouse Chip vorgenommen wird und die Quadmäuse am Hub einzeln adressiert werden z.B. USB 1-1, 1-2, 1-3 dadurch sollte die Adresierung fehlerfrei laufen , der Knackpunkt ist ja die endpoint Verwaltung die meiner Meinung nach bei der Quadmouse durch den intern verbauten Controller Geregelt wird bei den einfachen Reader durch den USB Hub und der im Bone verbaute siehe Zitat Seite 12 lässt nur 4 Endpoints zu da vermute ich Mittelwelle das Problem

Beim cubieboard 2 wird die Quadmouse auch funktionieren,
Ob Einzel Reader gehen kommt auf den Hub an
Ich vermute mal wird problemloser laufen mit normalem Kernel da Multiprozessor

Karolek würd ich der Einfachheit halber empfehlen Easymouse und oder Smargo verkaufen Quadmouse anschaffen Ober Bone verkaufen und Pi zulegen

Eigentlich Schade,finde das Teil nicht schlecht.
Mit 3 Reader leuft auch stabil.
Wo kann mann ewentuell noch Hilfe finden?
Sollen Sie in der Beschreibung eingeben"nur max 3 USB Geräte möglich".

Du hast recht ist eigentlich schade, die machen eigentlich ein tolles Board und so eine miese USB Anbindung.
Ich glaube es bleibt dir nur es entweder mit 3 USBMäusen oder wenn du mehr brauchst mit Quadmaus-USB (4 Reader) zu betreiben.

Hallo,

da smit den 3 geräten ist nur ein Vermutung von mir ich weiß nicht ob das wirklich so ist, hast du denn mal 4 andere Geräte am hub getestet mal so in etwa testen und sagen was passiert

1x Easymouse
1x Tastatur
1x Maus
1x Festplatte oder Usbstick

und mal schauen ob er da auch aufgibt hab z.Z. keinen Hub da sonst würd ich selber machen

oder versuch mal die 4 easy mäuse dranzuhängen und oscam nicht laufen zu lassen ob er da auch abstürzt

Gehe deiner Vermutung mal auf den Grund und
werde testen, muss noch anderes Projekt fertig machen dann habe ich die Dinge beisammen und gebe dir Bescheid (kann dann auch verschiedene USB Hubs testen)

Aber was soll da noch sonst werden,warum gerade beim 4 Reader?
Mit dem Umtuschen,mal sehen ob jemand da sich findet..

aufgeben ist nicht hab ja 2 bones hier einer ist für mich mit Quadmouse einer für nen Kumpel der auch nur 4 Easymäuse hat ich muss das also irgendwie zum laufen bringen
hab mich grad auf beagleboard.org umgeschaut aber also englisch und dat ist nicht so berauschend bei mir suche also definitiv weiter

@karolek hast du irgendwelche Logs machen können bei den Abstürzen
da im Beagleboard im zusammenhang mit dem USB immer wieder von
"Babble Interrupt" gesprochen wird andere vermuten auch eine Spannungsunterversorgung wenn die CPU-Last sich verringert wird automatisch
die spannung auf usb hub gesenkt könnte sein das das dann für den 4 Raeder nicht mehr reicht

Ich versuche nächste Woche mir 4 Easymäuse auszuleihen um genauer testen zu können

Hallo!

Habe auch an Netzteil gedacht da mal 2 Stunden gelaufen war
mal wieder nach 15 Min,mal gleich nach Neustart aus war.
Montag mache ich Tests mit anderen Geräten.
Werde ich auch tmp2ram ausmachen damit logs bleiben.

Da du ja jetzt 2 Hubs da hast wenn ich das richtig verstanden habe ( aktive oder passive ? )

1 Hub an Bone + 2 Easymouse
2 Hub an 1 Hub und dann die anderen beiden Easymouse an Hub 2

Habe aktive Hubs,glaube mal so was probiert zu haben,aber werde noch mal versuchen.
Habe auch probiert ein Reader an MiniUsb anzuschliessen,wurde aber nicht erkannt,wäre das vielleicht eine Möglichkeit?

Mit dem Mini weiß ich jetzt nicht muss mal testen wenn ich die Easymäuse da habe solange kann ich immer nur vermuten

was man noch versuchen könnte wäre

den 3.12 kernel zu kompilieren laut beagleboard sind die USB treibe dort überarbeitet
