Of course, I will write it.
To display information in the Car Menu, you need to have two computers synchronized: One that broadcasts the information on the CAN bus and the one that receives that information on a specific channel, which in our case is 5F. Handling 5F is the easiest. In adaptations, filter by "Gen2-menu_display" and set the desired function to "active," and also set "over_threshold" for that function to "active." If that module is broadcasting, you will have the information on the display.
To set the modules to work, you really need to know what you're doing. 5F is not dangerous for the car, but the other things we are talking about are. I don't know everything by heart; I'm also reading and learning. Search for "OIL" in 5F adaptations, activate it as described above, and see if it shows the oil temperature somewhere in the Car Menu. It should work because the ECU broadcasts that information.
Also, check the SWaP codes, supported and installed in your infotainment. There are many descriptions available on how to add/activate SWaP codes in 5F. Also, first check which ones are supported.
List of SWaP Codes:
00030000 USB, AUX, AMI
00030001 Gracenote
00040100 Navigation
00050000 Bluetooth

The one you need in this situation is 00060400 and 00060100 to be installed. OBD11 is perfect tool to do that. With VCDS You must know how to enter EOL mode and is not easy to transfer swap codes like with OBD11.
