Hallo zusammen,

hoffe es es kann mir jemand weiter helfen.
ich habe auch ambilight am laufen und zwar mit einem raspberry pi und als Image nutze ich Hyperion.
die Farben Liesen sich damals mit dem samsung galaxy S2 wunderbar Steuern über die Hyperion App.
Jetzt hat meine Freundin das samsung galaxy S4 und irgendwie habe ich jetzt Probleme mit der App da ich nicht mehr auf den pi zugreifen kann. Kann mir jemand von euch sagen woran das liegen könnte bzw hatte einer von euch das Problem auch schon ??

Würde mich freuen wenn mir da jemand weiterhelfen könnte !

Hi ..
das ist ja bereits das Problem.
ich kann die ip in der App auf dem S4 nirgends eingeben ..
weiss auch nicht wieso das auf dem S4 nicht geht . Auf dem S2 ging's damals problemlos .. Hab das aber leider nicht mehr da. Kann ja aber nicht sein das es auf DEM S4 nicht geht oder ??
Hab die App auch schon deinstalliert und wieder bei geladen .. Vergebens .. Die 3 Punkte zum eingeben üben rechts ( der ip) sind einfach nicht vorhanden ..
ansonsten hat natürlich der pi und das Handy wlan bzw netztwerkanschluss und feste ip s

edit: hat sich erledigt. Hab das Problem gefunden! Alle neuen Samsung Modelle müssen wenn man die App aufgemacht hat 2 mal auf Menu taste gedruckt werden. Dann erscheint was man sucht ! Bei alten Modellen war es oben links ..
Hoffe es hilft euch weiter falls ihr auch mal das Problem habt!

Hi Leute,

Ich hab mein Projekt Boblight auch mal weiter voran getrieben. Leider funktioniert es nicht.

Hardware:
Vu+ solo
Arduino
ebay WS 2801 Strips

Nach anfänglichen Problemen läuft die Colorswirl am PC problemlos.

Auch an der vu+ blinken beim einstecken des Arduinos die LED's Rot Grün Blau auf.
Dann habe ich meine Config erstellt (an der vu selber, wie auf der boblight Seite beschrieben, also ohne Tool.) und anschließend gespeichert/getestet. Auch da blinken die LED's Rot Grün Blau auf.

Will ich das Licht nun anmachen, geht gar nichts... Für mich habe ich irgendwo einen Fehler in der Config.

Ich habe mal alles meiner Meinung nach wichtige vom Fernseh abgeknipst und hochgeladen. Vielleicht hat ja jemand ne Idee.

Ich hab merere Versionen von Boblight ausprobiert. Die 0.8r6 gibt bei mir nen green Screen beim Befehl "Licht an".

Wow, da war es wohl echt schon was zu spät gestern, ich habe es nicht mehr gesehen. Hab es jetzt geändert und es tut sich was
Jetzt ist es nur zu hell um genau was sehen zu können. Aber bis auf feineinstellungen scheint es zu laufen. Vielen vielen dank.

Ja, es sind 104. Hab unten 2 weglassen müssen, da in der Mitte wo der Halter normal am Fernseher geschraubt wird, es nicht möglich war welche zu befestigen.

Ich habe jetzt noch was weiter an meinem System getüftelt und steh jetzt vor dem nächsten Problem. Vielleicht hab ich auch einfach nur einen Denkfehler...

Um die solo zu entlasten (die bei eingeschaltetem boblight echt träge wird) wollte ich den boblightd auslagern und die solo nur mehr als Client laufen lassen.
In der Theorie klingt das ja gut.

Ich hatte noch einen alten igel mit debian zum testen in der Ecke liegen, wo ich boblight drauf installiert habe. Dann habe ich die conf Datei von der vu auf den igel nach /etc kopiert.
Anschließend habe ich die ip vom igel im Receiver eingegeben. Arduino steckt am igel.

Mit "boblight-constant 00ff00" kann ich im putty die LED's zum leuchten bringen.. also funktioniert das ja schonmal soweit. der deamon läuft auch.

Normales bild - also LED's mit dem Fernsehbild - krieg ich aber nicht hin. hab schon alles durchprobiert, aber irgendwo hakt es.

Muss ich am igel oder an der vu noch etwas anderes einstellen? hat jemand eine ähnliche Konfiguration am laufen?

Es ist zwar eh nur testweise, da ich den igel nicht auch noch am Strom haben will. Auf kurz oder lang werde ich wohl meinen Receiver upgraden. Trotzdem würde ich das noch gerne austesten

Ich würde mich freuen, wenn da jemand eine Idee zu hätte

So habe ich die config aus der vu geholt und in den igel geschoben.
Das "Global, interface und Port" ist auskommentiert. In configs die ich im Internet gefunden habe, war das aber nicht der Fall. Das wollte ich schonmal abändern und probieren.

Sieht eigentlich nicht soooo verkehrt aus.
Mir fällt nur auf das bei den neueren boblight Versionen immer nur 3-stellige Angaben verwendet werden, also red, grn, blu. Da ich aber von Igeln keine Ahnung habe kann ich da nicht wirklich weiterhelfen.

Das wichtige ist in dem Fall die Verbindung zwischen vu und igel. Wenn du im boblight-Menü auf die Network-settings gehst und auf Test gehst tut sich denn dann was?
Die ip zum igel passt aber soweit?

Wenn du nicht unbedingt einen neuen receiver brauchst dann kannste auch super einen Raspi für solche Sachen nehmen

1. Linux E2 Receiver mit Boblight Plugin ( VU+ , Dreambox )

2. nach der von @ DoubleDom

3. mit Arduino UNO 3, LED Strips , Netzteil und kleinzeug ca. 110€
Mit dem PI wird's ca 30€ teurer.

Das ist nur der Preis wenn du das Plugin auf einem Receiver nutzt. Wenn Du die HDMI Variante wählst steigen die Kosten auf ca 190€.

Bevor du die Einzelteile kaufst solltest du nachsehen ob dein reci auch mit boblight läuft! Sofern du keinen Raspi als boblight server nehmen willst. Die Liste dazu findest du unter boblightenigma2.net.
