@athstavr24 use this it will create backup on sd send it here I can edit your fec.db and you can load it back it is safest way to do it

@athstavr24 let unit fully boot put this 2 files on sd insert in slot 1 and reboot with 3 buttons . check fecs in red menu

nope still the same navigation not enable
i pase the files you sent me then restart with the trhee keys

Guys I am stupid
I messed up I was using a Mac and not formatting the sd card to fat32 it was fat32ex
My man @ukkuty went above and beyond to help me fix my messup
Make sre that you USE A F**** pc not Mac and make sure the card is formatted to FAT32 not fat32ex
The part that no one mentions is that after the patch is successfull you need to do the following
remove card from car
Make sure to save all the files that the patch created
hen format the card and put just the pase file and the and the FEC_DB file just these two files
Put the sd card back in the car SLOT1!!!
Then do a reboot with the 3 buttons, the screen will go black for a sec and then I will reboot
And you are done remove card don’t mess with it ever again, it might take a few second to show up just to let you know
After that fec keys should be installed and all you need to do is BUY an sd card with the correct CID put the latest maps on it and you are done

Mi automóvil es un A3 8V, con la nueva versión de software P5101 actualizada. Alles lief reibungslos. Ich habe dann den Aktivator angewendet, aber es hat no funktioniert.

After you successfully run the activator you should have some files on your SD card. A back up folder and a files that says patch_ok.
Make sure that you save these files just in case something goes wrong in order to recover.
After that you need to format the as card to fat32 make sure that the card is Les than 32gb if it more you can still use it but you need a special program to format it and cap it at 32gb in order to formatted to fat32 and not fat32ex.
Then after you format it put in the sd card just the 2 files from the activator. These are the pase.bat and the FEC_DB.
Insert the card in the mmi and after it boots up perform a manual reboot with the key combination.
The screen will go black for a sec and it will turn back ok, you should be fine the check the keys.
If it’s still not working then you probably need your files modified by someone who knows how.
I had my nav activated and working but after I installed the activator I messed up and deactivated my nav and still did get the code for the map update.
A guy here in the forum helped me I can sent you the files that worked for me if you want to try but it’s best to find someone to modify your original files that the activator put out.
Let me know how it goes I will try to help if I can but I’m not an expert

bist du dir ganz sicher, dass ich die Navigation nicht aktivieren kann?
Der Verkäufer, von dem ich die Dateien gekauft habe, behauptet, sie könne aktiviert werden, aber nach unzähligen Versuchen kriege ich es einfach nicht hin, sodass ich ihm langsam misstraue.

und was machst du mit fehlendem GPS-Anschluss?Wenn du Schwarze Ringe und RS-Logo auf die Heckklappe anbringst, hat dein Auto danach auch 200PS mehr unter der Haube?

@tomasmartos34 check your unit it has not blue connector for GPS antenna

Just got me SD card with the custom CID pasted the 2023 maps installed them on the car and voila working 2023 maps!!!!
