I don't know what is with this firmware ... not many new things - compared metainfo2 from k942 to this p1001
only difference is the filesize of ifs-root file for the MU and Rear Seat Units
Code:
K942 IFS-Root: ImageSize = "43748929"
P1001 IFS-Root: ImageSize = "43755178"
then there are parts missing in p1001 metainfo which are for KBD_FC7 Bootloader.
After that there is a new HW62 Revision in P1001 File - also checksums for ifs-root and some of efs-system are different. And a new tnrref.csv and MUConsistency is installed
My decision : You can stay on K942, the changes or I call it now changelog: Audi maybe changed something on the hardware design an invented hardware revision 62. For the hardware changes they need new drivers, which are saved in the new ifs-root file also there is something on efs-system for the drivers. The tnrref.csv and MUConsistency file gives a new SW Number to the MMI Units which can be read over diagnostic on computer
So no new changes for your units! I think to get a HW62 Unit is to order a brand new unit from Audi Dealer when your old one is broken. You can stay on K942, because something also missing for KBD_FC7 (should be the button panel firmware) on P1001
