v805 - May 6th 2008 - First downloadable v8 maps for models running v8 software (only x30 range on this date, was briefly available for x20 owners, then withdrawn again, no reason given) Released alongside v7.20 maps for all other devices . Both of these new map sets are based on the 2008.1 release by Tele Atlas.
v810 - Sept 5th 2008 - for x30 and x20 ranges only - first "real" v8 release for the x20 models. Based on the April (2008.4) Tele Atlas data and released alongside v7.25 maps for all other models including the new "22 series" One and XL. Reports of a Go530 with v810.1870 and a Go940 with v810.1934
