[SUCHE] OScam Installation mit DVBviewer

i see the word 'vanilla' oscam many times in this forum. would you explain vanilla to me please? also
(the url would indeed need to be stable in order for the script to work in the future as you know)
i understand my request has been for remote server (ubuntu server) and i very much appreciate your help as you first developed for cygwin, which works perfectly, but i would like to keep both on my system,
however the startup script for cygwin needs controlled. im sure there is a simple way to activate and deactivate this script but i dont see it in the task scheduler library. what am i overlooking?

Vanilla as compiled from the source code without applying any other patch.

I don't understand your question, and the patches are not cygwin specific.
Binaries of dvbapinet and ffdecsa you can find, and if you want to use dvbapinet remotely instead of cygwin (I don't see a very good reason for that but ok) you of course need to change the dvbapinet config to connect with the remote oscam/dvbapi server (C:\ProgramData\dvbapiNET\dvbapiNET.ini)
If there is too complicated...well that's why the easy setup was created...but if you want to deviate, you should know why and how.

If you mean how the oscam is started, it is just with a shortcut in C:\ProgramData\Microsoft\Windows\Start Menu\Programs\Startup.
But just don't use the setup if you don't want to install oscam on Windows.

I find it very curious that for some reason people don't know what they are doing...but somehow they know they want something different then the how everything is provided.

clemenss, i spent months teaching myself about virtual machines, hyperV, ubuntu server and oscam, auto update scripts and much more, then sly germany went down.
icam appeared and patches, these 2 things i had never heard of before. i was trying to learn how to apply these to my set up.
then i seen your posts on this forum and the easy setup you created for dvbviewer . perfect. but it left me wondering....do i leave everything that i learned over the years just to use your setup. or do i try to continue to update what i was already using . thats when i reached out to you. i thank you for that. you have allowed me to continue to use my setup which is hyperV,ubuntu server and now oscam,icam & patch with auto update for any newer oscam version.
you created a very easy setup for windows and i just wanted to have both ways so i will never be stuck.

The patches are in no official versions, so the versions you show don't tell a lot.
 
what is the file? where do i put it or how will it be applied?

I downloaded this file and put it in the oscam folder. The result is negative.
How is the patch applied?
The extension must be exe to apply the patch

That bin is not mine I suppose, so no idea what it is.

Patches you find there as well (if you want to build oscam you self), you apply them before building to the original source code.

Doesn't work with SmartDVb, only with Dvbviewr, plus the DCWs you are getting don't look correct.

Does Smartdvb not use the ffdecsa but mdapi + some internal descrambler? If so it will indeed not work. If it uses the the ffdecsa, I see no reason why it couldn't work.
 
Es scheint mir, dass dvbapiNET nicht zusammen mit mdvbapi verwendet wird.
