... having a lot of spare time ... I've tested some different things on MCA ...

1) Doscam on MCA - Doscam was not intended for MCA however in the last
release ( v0.19 ) you'll find Doscam for Marvell 6281 witch is an ARM v5te
same as used for MCA ... well configured it starts ... connects the servers ...
reads Softcam.Key ... but was build without DVBApi !!! so cannot descramble
anything !!! if someone can find a communication channel with the authors ...
and ask them to include DVBApi in the future build ...

2) I've implemented a Camd3 keyserver ... on a E2 MIPS STB ... using Camd3
3.902 ... config files in /var/keys ... minimum config requires ... camd3.config ,
camd3.users and camd3.keys

camd3.config

and in Oscam.server running on MCA

The results are perfect ! Camd3 read an ordinary camd3.keys ... found
allmost everywhere on the NET ! and descramble allmost all possible ...
V1 V2 V3 N1 N2 I1 I2 B CCW CW ... in my case N2 !!! the ecm time in
LAN is around 23ms !!! from 10ms to 30ms ...
Camd3 3.902 has a simple WebIF ... enough to see what's doing !!!
and the release has ... mipsel ppc sh4 binaries ... the release archive
you'll find at "Downloads"

I've succeded the following test scam-MCA client to doscam-MCA witch implements a
Camd3 keyserver ... my question is : how to start automated the Doscam
keyserver ? is there ... somewhere a script witch allows to add Doscam
start command ?

P.S. Doscam-MCA is in fact Doscam-Marv slightly patched !

Doscam as keyserver for Oscam
===================

I've used Doscam 0.19 Marv witch is dedicated to a network router
with the same chipset ( ARM v5te ) as MCA ... running on a router
was build without DVBAPI support ... so can be used only as server.
My implementation use Doscam as keyserver using camd3 protocol
... pay attention ... user account group=64 !!!

The minimum configuration requested in /var/MCA/d1 is :

This is a standard file ... Internet is full of ... just must contain what is needed !

Also you wil need the Doscam , the executable ... you'll find in the archive at
"Downloads" ) ... as well as the modified system startup file "mcastart".
- doscam ... will be transfered on MCA using WinSCP in the root and will need
attributes "755" ... executable
- mcastart ... wil be transfered at /etc/init.d and will overwrite the original file

After all configurations ... remove MCA ... reinsert MCA ... and Oscam will be
client to Doscam keyserver ! ofcourse you can add in Oscam WebIF your
lines ...

Hi all, i've just started using MCA cam with NG-0.2-XMAS-339 fw and latest oscam from svn.


Using a 1805 card, i've cloned a full working conifg from an old set-top-box.


I've no problem receiving ecm and decrypting channels (just slow!), but my MCA don't send any emm to the server.


So the question: is there any limitation on MCA about EMM handling?

OSEmu 1.30 solve the problem of KeyServer !

The new OSEmu 1.30 solve in a excelent manner the
problem of KeyServer for MCA !!! as Doscam does but
simpler and faster . You can find OSEmu at download
section of the forum : Link ist nicht mehr aktiv.
You must extract from the archive the MCA version ,
transfer it to MCA root using SCP FTP and set attributes
to 755. In the same folder where you put oscam config
files you can put a SoftCam.Key file ... crypto , viaaccess ,
nagra2 keys are wellcomed ! Some keys are allready
defined into code ... probably allready expired ! OSEmu
is alive ! evolve as developpers are working on it ...

the associate reader defined in oscam.server looks like :

The command line to activate OSEmu looks like :

Hi Leute,

ich habe bei meinem MCA folgendes Problem.
Alleine das Schalten auf ORF HD reicht dem MCA aus um abzustürzen.
Weder ein anderes OSCAM noch ein CAMupdate (upb) haben geholfen.
Ich schau über SAT also weder 0D05:132F noch 0D05:1330 funktionieren.
Die Software ist 339 NG02.2.
Es ist auch die Frage ob das MCA abstürzt oder der Philips TV 6000 Serie.
Das gleiche Problem ist bei meinem Philips 8000 Serie
Beim weiter schalten auf freie Sender bleiben die Philips TV's dunkel.
Erst wenn ich das Cam ziehe kommt wieder ein Bild.
Ist es vielleicht ein Xilinx Problem?
Oder ist das MCA defekt?
Gibt es vielleicht eine Lösung

Bei meinem LG habe ich das selbe Problem. Ich habe die Xilinx geändert. Welche hast du auf deinem MCA?

Danke für die Antwort ich dacht schon das ich der Einzige mit diesem Problem bin.
ich habe die Software mca-cam-vFlashWithonlyCAS also die bin von Mrweb bzw. dirtyharry zur Reaktivierung genommen.
Die 3 Xilinx Rev_MLC .jed,Rev_MLC2 .jed,Rev_MLC2a .jed kenne ich.
Bis jetzt habe ich aber noch kein Xilinx ausprobiert.
Ein CAS 3 ist vorhanden.

Wenn du noch die originale Xilinx drauf hast, dann kann es ja nicht an der liegen.
Kurios ist eben, das dieses Problem nur bei Orf1Hd auftritt.

ich bin mir nicht sicher ob man mir nicht ein gebrauchtes Cam für ein neues Verkauft hat bzw war das wohl eine Retoure .
321 Deixx (kein Ebay)war der Verkäufer damals.
Das Cam hat von Anfang an rumgezickt.
Welchen Xilinx hast du auf deinem CAM?
Übrings ich habe sämtliche Software beim MCA ausprobiert also von XMAS 01 bis 0.22 immer das gleiche ORF HD Problem.
Also entweder der Xilinx oder das CAM ist defekt.

Ich hab die Rev_MLC2a drauf, da ich bei meinem LG die bekannte Klötzchen Bildung auf den HD-Kanälen hatte.
Fw's hab ich auch verschiedene probiert, aber bei keiner war eine Besserung zu erkennen.

Vielleicht liegt es auch am PhilipsTV.

Ich glaubs ja fast nicht, aber wenn du die Möglichkeit hast, dann teste das mal.
Laufen bei dir die RTL HD Sender? Die gehen bei mir auch nicht mehr.
Pro7HD geht z.B. ohne Probleme.
