Und um die patch habe ich nicht genau verstanden. Habe einen backup vom MIB gemacht aber nichts mehr

believe you can jump straight to 1447 if you use the SWDL command if you have the developers menu enabled on your unit (has to be enabled thou). The long press, two screens in. The sequenced updates must be via the normal software update ... could be talking dribble thou.

On another site Jpmedia appeared and did my 1338 dummy for me when I indicated that's all I wanted to do - requested my backup and returned the appropriate to slot into the patches directory. All you need if you want different FeCs but are happy with the software as present. They are building up patches for the matching software which appear in the releases of Mib Tools. Whilst Jpmedia did my dummy I believe Mib Wiki did the patch to add to the library which is different. The dummy is the temporary fix, you then hit addfecs on the second menu down, do not install the fragment of code since you already have it. Just need someone to do that for you if you wish to retain your current firmware release. If it recognizes it in the backup then you patch on the second menu, if not just add FeCs for a dummy patch.

ps Jpmedia also told someone who was on 1219 on that board they can go directly to 1447. You are on latter so yes. I believe the staging is only if you are carrying FeCs forward but that could be dribble as well. You get new FeCs with the tool rather than carry them forward. I did do some notes but as said chickened out of the software update.

Also, habe die Version 1447 heruntergeladen, SD und update versucht (nicht vom grün Menu). Da habe ich ein msg bekommen dass es 60 Minuten dauern kann. Ist dass real? Kann dass Auto nicht aus gehen?
 
You cant interrupt the power to the unit once a software update is started !. The engine must remain on or doors open etc. Suppose to have it on a charger but did my mib tool stuff with the engine running. Map updates can handle loss of power (they just forget where they get up to via swdl), firmware updates can't.be interrupted since they may brick the unit.
 
Ok with that but how long does the FW update take?
Will the engine shut automatically after maybe 30 mins?

No the engine won't stop.

I'd give it another 30 mins to the hour mark.
 
No I didn't start it yet. I read this msg and wasn't sure it could handle it. So confimed before starting the update which might brick the unit

How long doesn an update take usually

I did want a guinea pig thou. You just got this at the end of it if you haven't done it already:

Fix screen first before processing for 1447

From DEB 1447 forum: "It has already been observed twice that a unit gets stuck in the boot screen immediately after the firmware update.
If this happens to you via VCDS / VCP / OBD11: change byte 17 to skin 04 (carbon skin) and restart the system. "

Pre-empt, change long string of 5F module to Byte 17 to Skin 4, save and long reboot VCDS or OBDEleven (check)

That's if it's rebooted a few times and looks dormant.
Then you stil have to flash the patch on that mib tool second screen.

ich mich dafür entschieden habe, meine aktuelle Firmware zu behalten und jpmedia hat den Dummy für mich geschrieben. Das mib-Tool sagte, es sei "einfach selbst zu machen". Es ist in der Datei readme.txt des mib-Tools dokumentiert. Unter "Falls Sie wollen...". Es heißt, bitten Sie uns, Ihnen zu helfen ... damit Sie fragen können. Wie geht es euren Endians... ... auf dieser Etappe kamen mir zwei Italiener zu Hilfe und wiesen darauf hin, dass es nicht so einfach sei. Also hat Jpmedia es für mich getan. Aber wie gesagt, der Patch wird auch nachträglich in das Mib-Tool gesteckt.

Bei dem Update habe ich einen speech-tts-voice Error bekommen, wie kann ich einen es jetzt installieren?

Navigation gibt mir ein error, wurden die alte Karten gelöscht vom der Festplatte?

Habe derzeit full-link verloren, ich muss es nochmals setzen

Du brauchst den Patch für die Navigation... bin mir bei der Sprachdatei nicht ganz sicher. Sie wenden diesen Patch im zweiten Menü an und müssen möglicherweise auch auf addfec klicken.

Überprüfen Sie Ihre installierten FeCs, indem Sie die Menütaste etwa 2 Sekunden lang drücken.

Schlagen Sie vor, dass Sie den Patch durchführen und sehen, was an der Sprachfront passiert. Die Sprachdateien sollen aussortiert werden.

Ich sehe Nachrüster installieren 1447 in Großbritannien, machen aber nicht den Skoda-Mod. Das wurde gestern Abend gesagt.

Lassen Sie uns wissen, wie es geht!.

Sie müssen BTW nach dem Patchen von FeCs neu starten, sonst werden sie nicht greifen. Halten Sie die Ein-/Aus-Taste 20 Sekunden lang gedrückt, um einen Neustart zu erzwingen.

wie hast du da Speech TTS voices Problem gelöst? Ich habe dass gleiche Problem aber ich sehe die Speech file und kann nicht verstehen was fehlt
Du musst Regestriert sein, um das angehängte Bild zusehen.

Hallo in die Runde, ich bei mir die Software von P4708_1 auf P4709 installiert und den Patch bei meinem Seat Leon 5F eingespielt. Seit diesem Zeitpunkt sind keine Einstellmöglichkeiten mehr im Car Setup vorhanden. Ich habe vorher ein Backup über M.I.B erstellt - gibt es eine Möglichkeit die Anpassungskanäle zurück zu spielen? Danke
