Oscam-Update über Feed

Hallo Leute.

Habe seit etwa einem Jahr auf meiner DM 800 SE das ATV 6.2 mit Flasherweiterung laufen. Dazu bis heute OSCAM 11517. Ich kam in letzter Zeit kaum mal zum Fernsehen und habe somit auch nie ein Update durchgeführt. Das Image läuft stabil, doch die OSCAM nicht. Wenn die Box bspw. für ein paar Stunden im Standby gewesen ist, dann bleibt die CAM etwa alle 4 Sek. stehen. Oft hilft dann nicht einmal ein mehrmaliger Restart.
Wenn ich nun den Feed aufrufe um eine aktuellere CAM zu installieren, dann bekomme ich nur die derzeit installierte angezeigt(oscam_11517_unstable_update). Woran liegt das? Das ist in der Vergangenheit auch oft bei anderen Images der Fall gewesen.
Ich könnte die aktuelle OSCAM natürlich auch manuell installieren, aber mir geht es speziell um die Feed-Möglichkeit.

Du brauchst den richtigen Feed.

Genau das habe ich probiert. Ende vom Lied. Der Eintrag "SoftCams" war danach weg und tauchte auch nicht wieder auf :neutral:. Konnte zwar weitere und auch aktuelle SoftCams installieren, jedoch nicht mehr verwalten. Also kann ich alles wieder platt machen, was ich eigentlich vermeiden wollte.

Beim anschließenden Versuch die Oscam vom Feed zu installieren, kam zunächst folgende Meldung:

Nun, Du bist eh auf einem richtig miesen Stand des Images ....
... da fehlt wget und somit kannst Du mit diesem Image-Stand rein gar nix von Feeds herunterladen.
Keine Plugins, keine Skins, nix.

Ich lästere nicht umsonst immer über die DM800 oder über die ganz Dreisten, die eine DM800 nicht selber wegschmeißen, sondern gegen Bezahlung verschicken wollen.
Diese Boxen sind tot, es ist schon seit Jahren nicht mehr möglich, dafür wirklich funktionierende Images zu bauen.
Da werden ständig 10 Bytes hin und 11 Bytes hergeschoben, damit die Boxen überhaupt noch mit einem Minimalimage hochkommen.

als Image. Das läuft auch auf der DM800 ohne Probleme.
Musst nur das richtige Image für deine 800se nehmen.

Und ein Cam Feed kommt vorinstalliert mit dem Image inkl. relativ aktuellem Oscam.

Keine Frage. Zudem nutze ich das Gerät als Ausweichmöglichkeit. Hat mir immer gute Dienste geleistet. Wenn irgendwann nichts mehr möglich ist, dann ist es halt so und was neues muss her.

Wie ich oben schon erwähnt hatte, hatte ich mit der OATV 6.2 keinerlei Probleme. Hatte dieses Image irgendwann wieder geflasht, da das 6.3 trotz Flashexpander nicht sauber lief. Der große Vorteil beim 6.2 war, wie ich finde, dass man den Flash auslagern konnte und anschließend sämtlichen Inhalt des Ordners "usr" leeren konnte. Somit hatte man immer etwa 44 MB freien Speicher und das Image lief tadellos. Das funktioniert bei dem 6.3 leider nicht mehr, da vermutlich die Struktur ein wenig anders ist. Da bin ich überfragt. Box fährt danach nicht mehr hoch und bleibt im Boot-Screen stehen.

Ich habe letzten Endes dann gestern das OpenATV 6.3 dm800se sim2 image daily build geflasht, Flash ausgelagert und jetzt läuft erst einmal wieder alles. Leider ist das Image nun aufgrund von nur 1-2 MB freien Speichers teilweise sehr träge.

Naja, nicht das Image ist träge, die Box ist es.
Die alten Dreamboxen waren schon als sie noch als Originale verkauft wurden veraltet, geschweige denn in ihrem zweiten Leben als Clones.

Mit ihren 64 MB Flash, verbunden mit dem sturen Wunsch, weiterhin Images dafür zu bauen, haben diese Boxen erheblich zum Anfang vom Ende von E2 beigetragen.
Es wurden längst bessere Boxen mit z.B. 750 MHz und 256 MB Flash, für kleineres Geld angeboten, als noch immer diese Drecks-Clones gekauft wurden.
Die heilige Kuh "Das Image muß auf 64 MB Flash passen" hat viele mögliche Neuerungen aus den Images herausgehalten bzw. Entwickler-Ressourcen gebunden.

Aber davon ab:
Eines der letzten Images OpenATV 6.2 hätte es auch getan.
Der Grund, wieso es bei Dir nicht (mehr) geht ist der, daß wget früher nur als busybox-applet mit reduziertem Funktionsumfang enthalten war. Später wurde dann ein vollwertiger wget eingebaut und das busybox-applet entfernt (Auch so ein Opfer wegen der alten Dreamkotz-Clones: Man hätte busybox-wget auch noch ewig als Fallback drinhalten können, aber auch diese 100 kB hätten auf den Dreamkotz-Images den Rahmen gesprengt).
Wenn man genau diesen Schritt per "opkg update && opkg upgrade" mitgemacht hat, kann es passieren, daß zuerst busybox-wget wegfiel bevor der vollwertige wget installiert werden konnte, denn einen der beiden wget braucht man auch dafür ... Du hättest das neuere Image (Mit echtem wget und ohne busybox-wget) halt einfach nur sauber per Flashen und Einstellungswiederherstellung installieren müssen.
