so i copied files from ukkuty and i just insert it into navi unit and turn on igniton and force reboot unit and thats it?

Turn on ignition, let the unit start. Put in sd-card with files from ukkuty then force reboot. After reboot, put in navi-sd-card an force another reboot. That's it.

Do not install this in your navigations. The guy who released this has no idea what this update does. These files are from the beginning of the mstd project. This update removes the file that contains the vcrn and metainfo public key. The lack of this file has the same disadvantages. After update your VCRN in measurement blocks is 00 00 00 00, online geko coding problem, device won't accept any update anymore, there will be no information for metainfo parser. Yes, the device accepts the codes added in the FEC_DB file, but not always. One more trick is needed. More harm than good. No CID off. There is no patch for fec_db/slist.txt signature at all. What is it? Everyone who installed it and didn't have fecs added to their maps are now in a very big problem. That doesn't mean it can't be fixed. Only 3 people have correct Mstd instructions. One type in Poland, another in Hungary and the one that started it all in Germany. Those who installed it can now ask the guy who shared it to fix it

@NurDoof what exactly is nonsense? all he said is 100% correct you can use activator to accept new maps but your unit will never work online and no more updates.

And what update. The Panasonic MSTD is 12 years old. There will be no update.

I don’t think anyone is interested in buying a used MIB1 unit anymore these days. If the MIB1 unit breaks, most people will get either an aftermarket radio or upgrade to MIB2 anyway. I don’t see much importance in SVM for 5F to be honest. Nothing that can’t be done using VCDS, ODIS-E or VCP offline.

try do do SVM on your car now for example you replaced some other control unit in car and want to to do online coding . let me know

you didnt get my point .. all i said is it true that activator will wipe vcrn from 5f or not ? should everyone be aware of this? did mqb say true or not?let everyone decide what they want to do with they unit if they are happy with result then fair play but i had so many start t crying after because they have error in 5f after etc so let them know what this activator does

I am new to the forum and have read all 26 pages. My nephew has recently purchased a late 2013 Audi A3 SE sportsback.
We have been trying to activate the satnav to no avail.
We updated the system from P2440 0370 to the P5101 it took an hour but all fine.
I downloaded the latest activator 1.27 from entuastic.
When we tried it first we never manually rebooted and it didn't work. I saved the files but when I tried to restore nothing. Of course when attempting a again it was Grey, so I changed the number by one increment in the metainfo file (”4180”)as someone mentioned. This allowed us to run the activator again but still no joy?
Do you think activation isn't possible on this car?
Please look at the images. It looked like it worked but nothing satnav related in my fec list after?
