Ich habe bis jetzt noch keine original VW Karte. Ich wollte eine bei eBay kaufen.
 
Nehmt einfach 64gb evo Karten, die funktionieren fast alle.
 
@014356: Das funktioniert so nicht. Du müsstest nach dem Formatieren die Karte wieder mit dem entsprechendem PW, welches genau zu der CID von der Original-Karte passen muss, locken. Da du dieses individuelle PW nicht hast wirst du also nicht machen können.

@Clouseau22: What i mean is to unlock the Original Card with SD-Locker, delete data and copy new data with Windows and lock it again with sd-Locker. In my case the SD Locker locks it with the deposited PW on SD Card or in other words, it does not delete the PW during unlocking process. I wonder that it is not working with your circuit, because we have the same
 
vertico : Unfortunately, SD locker does not work so. SD locker works with a password that is stored in the processor previously. Not with password on SD card.
This means that it operates with a known password and can not unlock a card that is locked by an unknown password.
First you need to know this password, then stored in the SD locker processor and then can unlock this (original) card.
SD locker is only hand, that take key, put into lock and turn to lock or unlock. Nothing more.

understood, but i wonder that it worked with my V7 (?). I will receive in next weeks an other used card and then i will test it again and give feedback.
 
Kann mir jemand Schritt für Schritt erklären wie der SD Locker funktioniert? Irgendwie funktioniert das bei mir nicht so wie es soll.

Ich habe soweit alles zusammengebaut und angeschlossen -> mit dem Programmer die HEX Datei geflasht. -> muss ich hier etwas bestimmtes einstellen um die HEX Datei zu flashen?

Wenn ich aber mit eingelegter Samsung (gelockt) auf Unlock drücke passiert nichts, es werden auch die LEDs nicht angesteuert.
 
Entwarnung: Ich hab nochmal alle Lötstellen nachgearbeitet, dürfte ein schlechter Kontakt gewesen sein. Zumindest funktioniert Lock und Unlock jetzt.

PWD funktioniert trotzdem nicht -> funktioniert dieser Knopf bei euch? An welchen Pin habt Ihr diesen angeschlossen?



PS: Ich habe soeben eine gebrauchte originale V8 SD West Karte (3AA 919 866) entsperrt und kopiere gerade die V9 Map auf die V8 originale SD Karte.

Edit: Lässt sich leider nicht sperren -> bzw. nicht mit Passwort sperren. Wobei ich mir nicht sicher bin ob das nicht an meinem SD Locker liegt.

Gibt es eine Möglichkeit das Passwort zu berechnen? Hat da jemand eventuell mehr Erfahrung?

I will give it a try on monday, when i am back at work. It is a bit strange, lock and unlock work. But if i push the pwd button... Nothing happens.

Do you found a way to use original cards?

Ich auch nicht. Ich habe alles versucht. Auch ein anderes Patch in Ubuntu installieren.
Einfach nicht. Vielleicht mein Laptop ist das Problem...Ich verlor viel Zeit mit.


When you press only P, so LED show status - GREEN unlocked, RED locked
For unlock with PWD : press and HOLD P - PWD - PC2 ( RED LED lights) and press U - PC1. After short moment RED LED OFF and GREEN LED ON - done, unlocked.
For lock with PWD : press and HOLD P - PWD - PC2 ( GREEN LED lights) and press L - PC0. After a short momment GREEN LED OFF and RED ON - done, locked.

Added functions - write protect - do not use for navigation cards - the same function as a write protect switch - no password.
For write protect : press L - PC0. After a short momment GREEN LED OFF and RED ON - done, write protect.
For disabling write protect : press U - PC1. After short momment RED LED OFF and GREEN LED ON - done, write protect disabled.

It is useful fast tool for re-use cards. Simply unlock, delete deviceid file, lock and you can install in another car again
Thanks to this device I can unlock any card. I mean also any original card with unknown password.
But I must first to find out the password of the card and insert it into the device. But that's not a problem for me...
