I'm wondering if anyone has seen this error when trying to update the AID / Virtual Cockpit software. This was in a Skoda Kodiaq L&K 565920790A unit which has 1691 version installed using the VW_SK_FPKE_VW_18S1_1703_S_MHI2 file on an SD card.
I also had a look in erWin as I'm told there's a TPI about the software update of the FPK Digital Instrument Cluster (AID / Virtual Cockpit) for Skoda Octavia, Kodiaq, Karoq and Superb vehicles (with components 5E0920790A, 565920790A, 3V0920790A) manufactured from May 2018 to March 2019 that may have a sporadic digital instrument cluster display failure. I believe it would be an update from version "508 1691" to "509 1703". I have also seen some logs from 5E0920790A units with "509 1711" version installed.
Just wondering if anyone would know what the error could mean and/or have at least the TPI number as I can't find it in erWin.
Edit:
Hmm, maybe I'm partially answering my own question, but just found that error 128 usually means "SHA1 checksum error! Please verify data on your download medium.[SWDL_ERROR_SHA1]".
