So tell us, what files are in the folder \Navigon\map?
Are the files all from the same quarter?

Thank you for the warm welcome. My map folder is on my SD card while my Navigon software and iGO Primo or on the flash drive (my 2310 is unlocked and I have run both successfully). The contents of my map folder are attached.

Please don't tell me it will only run with specific maps....

I think you have too much nfs files in your map folder!
Try only these:

CountryProfiles.nfs
MapDrawer.nfs
NavigonRealityView.nfs
Poicats.nfs
Sat_EU.nfs
TMC.nfs

And make sure that nfs files and map files are from the same quarter (this is very important)!

And beside: we don't make a Quote here when the post is directly above.
 
Nope. Keeps rebooting. The map and nfs files are all from Q1 2011.

Can this download be installed through Navigon Fresh?

Do you make a reset after changing and do you format your sd card before?
 
I did the reset.

I guess I'll remove everything, reformat and start from a scratch. I'll let you know how it goes.

Hallo zusammen,

nachdem ich mein 2210 zum 20 P upgegradet habe, fiel mir heute folgender Fehler auf:

Bei aktiviertem dynamischen Spurassistent friert der Bildschirm ( nur Kartendarstellung) ein, sobald eine Links-Abbiegung angezeigt wird. NAvigation läuft weiter. Der statische Spurassisten funzt problemlos.

Habe ihr das auch? Evtl. eine Lösung ????

Gibt es eigentlich eine Möglichkeit Sabine-TTS wieder zum Sprechen zu bewegen?
Im Demo-Modus läuft es einwandfrei.
Bei echter Navigation bleibt Sabine einfach stumm und nach einiger Zeit meldet sich einfach Anke wieder ungefragt zu Wort.
 
No luck. Clean install on a formatted device with just the included nfs files and one map and it still constantly reboots before it gets to the menu. I'm thinking maybe something in the hidden MN Settings folder but don't know what. Will keep plodding on..........

I would be very grateful if anyone has experienced similar and found a solution.

What did you do and what Navi *. nfs files are in the map folder in there?

Manche möchten die neue TTS Stimmen auf ein altes Navi drauf kriegen und du hängst an der alte Dame (Sabine)fest?

I formatted the SD card and flash card, copied over the complete version downloaded from the first post (minus languages and pdf files I didn't need) and did a hard reset. Used only the nfs files contained in the download and the Q1 2011 UK map.

I put everything on the internal flash drive and the SD card is empty.

The device showed me the updating screen after the reset, rebooted twice and showed the grey screen with the rotating Navigon logo and city outline....and then the reboot.

There is even a file on the internal flash drive called 'UpdateMe.done', which I assume would only be created if the update was successful.

The resulting *. nfs files in the download are from Q4_2010.

What navigation do you have?
 
I've tried it with the Q1 2011 nfs files (from a different forum) as well with the same result. It all functioned normally with the MN 7.4.3 software.

BTW I have the Navigon 2310.

Umso weiter man rauszoomt, umso weniger Details werden nunmal angezeigt. Ist selbst bei Google Maps etc. nicht anders, da mehr Details bei größeren Bereichen einfach mehr Rechenleistung benötigen. Wenn du auf der BAB erfahren willst, wo du bist, kann ich diese blauen Schilder empfehlen - so soll man sich früher angeblich zurecht gefunden haben
