Ich wollte bei einer ZR Einheit den emmc auslesen, es klappt aber einfach nicht.

Welche Pinbelegung benutzt Ihr so? Hab hier drei verschiedene aber nix geht.
Bei einer PQ Einheit klappt es immer sofort, also am der Kombi USB Kartenleser/SD Karte/PC kann es nicht liegen.
RAW Copy Tool findet die "SD Karte" einfach nicht.

Ich verwende diese Methode
Allerdings nur mit Data0
Ziemlich sicher Data0 Problem, da ist es hilfreich eventuell die Nadel schräg anzusetzen
Die Versiegelung sollte sauber weggekratzt werden und bitte kein Loch durch machen

Hallo ich habe einen Touran 2018, habe die Software MST2_EU_VW_ZR_P0468T mit Navi. Würde gerne mein Car Play Freischalten. kann mir jemand dabei helfen ,habe schon gelesen das ich ein Update auf Po480T brauche aber welchen Patch.

Frage, brauche ich für das Disover Media um die neue Firmware hochzuladen auch die originale VW SD Karte
und falls nicht kann ich dann die neuen Navigations Karten und die Pois ZusatzKarten nach dem Patch ohne original VW SC Karte hochladen?

Würde eine Marken Sd Karte nehmen
Ja nach dem patsch sollte jede sd-karte für das Navi gehen

first a big shoutout to all you guys doing the great work of providing elaborate support to all of us!

After many years of passive reading I got a naviceiver specimen on my bench: A friend tried to ride the short bus and bought one of these ebay activation files to enable carplay on his "Technisat" VW Discover Media.
The process failed and now the unit is in a continuous reboot loop showing the volkswagen logo for a random amount of time and restarting.

The original software train version was MST2_EU_VW_PQ_P0245T.

I guess the only way to revive the unit (and restore the former working state) is to reflash the eMMC. I managed to attach wires to the flash pins and can mount the eMMC on my computer which shows me three partitions:
1 ca. 3.7 GB
2 ca. 1 MB
3 ca. 3.6 GB

Total flash size is 8GB which seems reasonable.
As I don't have a dump of the original working flash image I started with backing up the current state.
On mibsolution.one I downloaded MST2_EU_VW_PQ_P0475T_IMG_CP_OFF_SWAP and flashed the file into the eMMC, but as somewhat expected this did not work...
Is there any other requirement I have to meet in order to get this fw image running? I presume flashing a dump from another unit requires removing CP in order to work in another car...
Or is the unit intended to stay in bootloop when there is no car attached via CAN and it can't check the VIN?

There's a small eeprom (25L12835...) on the board, do I have to modify any content in there?
Or is there a better way to flash one of the update files into one of the eMMC partitions?

I reflashed the original (broken) eMMC image, see attached boot logs on serial console, one with normal startup and the other one with debug jumper fitted.

Bei Ständigen Booten ist die Erfolgsaussicht groß
Beim eMMC Dump ist auch noch interessant welche Unit. (Mit oder ohne Navi)

Atka hat vollkommen recht !!!

Sichert euch ab bevor ihr bei eBay Freischaltungen und so weiter kauft, bei mir hat es auch nicht geklappt und das Radio war wirklich auf halb 8 !

Gott sei Dank konnte mir Atka helfen und hat alles wieder richtig ins Lot gebracht, nun funktioniert das Radio inklusive aller Freischaltungen und Navi einwandfrei !!!

Ich besitze in meinem Caddy ein Discover Media 5C0035680F mit HW H41 und SW 0475
Ist ein PREH Gerät. Gibt es hierfür ein SW Update ? Im Idealfall mit einem Patch wo alles freigeschaltet werden kann ?
