Ja genau, man sieht ja im postscript.sh welche Steckplätze und Anschlüsse abgefragt werden.

Dürfte also egal sein wo die SD Karte oder der USB Stick eingesteckt ist.

Den Aktivator konnte ich ohne Probleme mit einem 256 mb USB Stick einspielen.
Android Auto funktioniert nur mit USB Kabel. Kabellos geht es nicht.
MirrorLink geht, dagegen bei mir nicht. Habe Android 9 von Samsung.
Gibt es da ein Trick wie man das zum Laufen bekommen kann?

Ach ja bei der Installation hatte ich eine Meldung die ich nur per Abbrechen bestätigen konnte.
Kann mir jemand erläutern was das System bei Installation von mir wollte?

Hattes du einen VAG-Tester angeschlossen? Nein?, dann kann auch keine "Rückdokumentation" stattfinden, also war "Abbruch" die richtige Maßnahme.
AA-Wireless geht nur bei neueren Einheiten und Mirrorlink scheitert am Handy, unterstützt nämlich so gut wie kein aktuelleres Gerät mehr, wäre aber bei dem verbauten Gerät auch nur kabelgebunden möglich.

Danke für eure Antworten. Wie gut und ich bin froh, dass ich das nicht bei VW bezahlt habe.
Hatte mit dem Gedanken gespielt.
Nach der Freischaltung hätte ich es bestimmt bereut. Es ist das viele Geld einfach nicht wert. Allein schon, das es nur kabelgebunden funktioniert ist das für mich ein No Go.

Könnte man eigentlich das MIB der nächste Generation in meinen Golf Plug and Play verbauen? Würde das funktionieren, damit man es kabellos letztendlich betreiben kann?

Wenn dir das einen gut 4stelligen Betrag wert ist...
Was geht und wohl auch ganz gut funktioniert, sind Adapter, die über USB mit der Einheit im Auto verbunden werden und mit dem Handy dann über BT kommunizieren, Kosten zwischen 50,-/80,-€
Problem bei den ganze Wireless Varianten ist aber der Akku im Handy, der bei aktiver Navigation auch schon mal bei 2-3Std Autofahrt leer sein kann, wenn eben nicht über das Kabel nachgeladen wird.

Ich habe letzte Zweifel, wie man den Kongo- und Duke-Aktivator verwendet.
Ich möchte es so verwenden, wie es ist, ohne etwas anzufassen.
Ich habe aus der Anleitung gelesen: "If you create addFecs.txt in the common folder then fecs will be added as FSC files (if missing).
Supported FEC's with the Fec container patch - any defined in addFecs.txt"
Aber addFecs.txt ist bereits im gemeinsamen Ordner "Common".
Soll ich es entfernen?

Nein einfach so wie du das runtergeladen hast auf die SD oder den USB Stick und ausführen. Der Aktivator macht alles automatisch für dich.

with the hope that it will help one or the other which method they want to use.
It's about the Auto Script from Congo & Duke and can only be used for the Delphi Infotainment System MST2 .......D !
This is roughly how it works, supported versions: Almost all 2 xx 6 xx 8 xx 9 xxx (see ReadMe.txt)
1.) Activation with Congo Activator
2.) Map material on standard SD 32 GB on root ( no CID sd card needed anymore, through CID unlock - after using the activator )
3.) Done

The added/installed FEC only work if they are also supported by the built-in unit
(see supported codes, press the menu button for 3 minutes ==> service menu, look here)

Info: after every new installation/update of the software/firmware for the unit, the additionally patched FEC are lost
(the originally valid FEC of the unit is retained)
and can then be installed/activated/valid again using the activator

if you have installed fdm.exe (PC) or the extension of it in Chrome, then start the download as normal by clicking on it file to download, then open the Downloads menu item on the right in Chrome, now you see the slow download of it, so the first line now shows the file name, underneath is the download link, here you go with the mouse and click with the right click to download it with the free download manager, when it starts, you can stop/delete the slow, download normally and wait for the fdm to finish, that's how it works!

I used the simple method with sd card. Everything went well. Except for the part that now my app connect is activated it shows andriod auto, apple play, mirror, but for some reason these options are not working. I tried with different cables, installed android auto again but it just doesnt work after connecting the USB wire. I have a golf 7.5.

Check the USB port in your car. If the connector plug inside is not green, you need to replace it.

Weil immer wieder die Fragen kommen bezüglich iPhon funktioniert nicht obwohl gepatsch ist:
Im STG 5F Kontrollieren ob unter codierung byte 19 bit 6 auf Usb/Iphone codiert ist
Im STG 5F unter Anpassung/Vehicle Config. kontrollieren ob Apple_DIO auf on und Google_GAL auf on stehen
Es sind häufig die Kabel vom Handy schlecht (Auch wenn das Laden funktioniert)
Weiters gibt es USB Buschsen die im Auto verbaut sind, die nicht iPhon fähig sind

I read the whole thread before i went in to install the software. I saw videos by Mr.fix where he enables DIO and GAL through 5f using OBD module which displays android auto and apple car play on the screen. In my case they are already visible. I checked with 3 different cables it just doesn't pick up my Samsung s23ultra. My obd connecter is getting delivered today ill check it with that though.
So the situation now:
1. I ran a number of checks through my OBD device, and there were no faults.
2. I checked for a green USB connector by removing the Aircon unit plastic, i could see the USB plug is green in the photo attached.
3. The following are the codes installed in my car after the software update was done.

Connect to 5F module, go to "Adaptation", from list choose "Car Configuration"
and make changes:
Google_GAL -> ON
Apple_DIO -> ON
Mirror_link -> ON
Smartphone_interface_for_rhmi -> ON
Coding
byte_19_USB -> has to be ipod

Maybe it's the phone to blame. I don't understand what firmware version is on the car. You may need to do a firmware update.
