So first let's talk about the new BCM.
T73a = BCM black connector
T73b = BCM white connector
T32 = instrument cluster connector
T6aa = dimmer connector
T20 = connector of CAN gateway
T16 = OBD connector
Step 0: preparations.
Make a full autoscan
Save adaptation channel values of BCM 09, CAN gateway 19, 61 battery regulator.
Remove negative terminal of battery.
Step 1:
remove old CAN gateway, it's on the A pillar on the passenger side, behind the glove box.
Throw it away. Burn it. Never use it again

Step 2:
Remove instrument cluster.
Remove T32/28 and T32/29 (orange/brown and orange/black) and isolate them.
Run two new wires (twisted) for CAN instrument cluster.
The 1st wire goes from T73b/54 to T32/28 and the second from T73b/57 to T32/29
This is the new CAN instrument cluster network (also for HBA retrofit).
Place back instrument cluster.
Step 3:
Remove the T20/12 LIN wire (pink/violet) from the red gateway connector.
Extend the wire and and run it to T73b/37.
This is a new LIN network for the generator and battery monitoring unit.
Step 4:
Remove the OBD connector from its holder and remove and isolate T16/6 and T16/14 (orange/black and orange brown)
Run a new twisted pair of wires. One goes from T73b/22 to T16/14 and the other goes from T73b/23 to T16/6.
This is your new CAN Diagnostics network.
Step 5:
Remove steering wheel and indicator stalk unit.
Remove the T41/3 (orange/black), make a Y connection and make a connection of the wire to T41/3 and T73b/19.
Remove the T41/2 (orange/brown), make a Y connection and make a connection of the wire and make a connection to T41/2 and T73b/18.
This is the new CAN powertrain network.
Place back the stalks and the steering wheel.
The CAN infotainment system wiring is already present.
Step 6:
Remove light switch and dimmer
Remove T6aa/3, and isolate the wire.
Make a new wire from T73b/4 to T6aa/3 (dimmer connector).
Place back the dimmer and the light switch.
Now you can plug in the new BCM, connect battery and paste the coding of the old BCM into the 09 BCM module.
Paste back the coding of the old battery regulator into the new
Paste the coding of 002200 (4 doors) or 002000 (2 doors) into the can gateway.
Place the adaptations of each old module back into the new (BCM, gateway, battery monitor).

It might be necessary to adapt some coding for all the functions to work, i.e. for the button backlighting.
When making crimps, always make sure the wire is crimped correctly. All the wires, except T73a/4 to T6aa/3, are the type of micro quadlock system.
Make sure the wire is not sticking out of the crimp and no thin wires are sticking out to avoid short circuits. CAN wires are minimum 0.35mm2 of cross section.
For automatic lights and CH/LH, you need a RLS (1k0 or 5k7), automatic lights wiring and auto light switch.
Your current and future 7E0/7H0 BCM will support it.
