Thunderspace utilizes stereoscopic 3D audio & realistic lightning flashes to create a thunderstorm around you.
You have two ears for the same reason that you have two eyes. So you can see and hear in 3D.
We recorded thunderstorms the way humans hear — using state-of-the-art microphones with ears to capture interaural time- and level differences.
Thunderspace features the most pristine 3D nature sounds from Emmy-award winning nature sound recordist Gordon Hempton.
