Naja, je nachdem wie gut DreamOS E2 gecoded ist, könnte die komplettere lamedb funktionieren oder das E2 zum Absturz bringen. Ich weiß es ehrlich gesagt nicht.

Aber den UseCase (ich kopiere die Open lamedb rüber zu DreamOS) habe ich bewusst ignoriert!

Wenn eine VTI lamedb unter DreamOS geht, geht auch die von Open. VTI hatte es scheinbar schon immer besser gemacht mit der lamedb.

also bisher konnte ich alle lamedb zw. open* <-> dreamOS hin-/her-tauschen,
ohne hindernisse oder anpassungen.

danke fürs erläutern ... den rest wird hier die praxis zeigen.

There is still quite a big issue with Softcsa regarding pixelations and freezes. I did report it before stating it did this with a settings backup.

Well further to this it does this with anything that taxes the boxes resourses causing a brief spinner, be it a plugin "blocking" or a simple url when selecting a stream thats slow to answer. I understand that properly written plugins shouldnt "block" but 90% of available plugins do. By "blocking i mean a plugin telling Enigma " to wait unitl I've finished "

Anything which causes a brief spinner will cause the picture to either pixelate or freeze. Its not just me that has this issue, I've asked several people and they have it too. It doesnt do this when using Stream Relay, nor does it do it on any other none Softcsa channel.

Even EPG translation from translation plugins cause this if the translating is a little slow and gives a brief spinner.

On all my test boxes there is no issue reading freezing of MainLoop.

I did mention a few things above WXbet, EPG translation, settings backup, or even a url thats slow to answer or dead.

If the url is dead then the picture will freeze until the timeout is reached and E2 stops trying and the spinner stops, once it does the picture returns.

Try connecting to what you know to be a dead Stalker portal where the provider has changed the url if you want to replicate this iussue.

Ok in this log I enabled debug, restarted, then went to a Sky DE channel. I then tried to play what I knew to be a dead Stalker Portal.

As expected for the duration of E2 trying to connect I was given the spinner and the Sky DE picture froze until E2 stopped trying to connect.

Connecting to a dead portal is just an example though, it happens for other things too.

Zusätzlich zu sichernde Dateien, würde ich noch /usr/share/enigma2/picons mit sichern und falls geändert das bootlogo in /usr/share
