This torrent cotains 3 iso files that you can use to update your RNS-310 unit
According to volkswagen this should not be possible, but it is!
This new firmware activates the ability to control your bluetooth phone if you have a bluetooth interface,and it also adds bug fixes and navigation improvements

Read this carefully before you continue!
The update process takes about 60 minutes, so make sure that you have a healthy battery and turn all lights,ac etc off before you start
Its ok to use a CD-RW, but make sure you burn the image in imgburn at the slowest possible speed supported by your record device.
Different files should be used depending on what firmware you have in your unit!
To se your current version, press and hold "SETUP" and then click version

02xx

If you are on any 02xx firmware but NOT on 0235 (like 0212, 0227 etc) you should use this disc:
"RNS310-02xx to 0351.img"
Burn the disc, put it in to the drive and follow the instructions on screen, the update will take about 30-60 minutes depending on your current version
The device will reboot several times during the process.
When the update is done, press SETUP again to make sure that you are on 0351.
(Optional) If you want to update to from 0351 0357 you can use this disc:
"Official Volkswagen 0335 or 0235.iso"
IMPORTANT! Only update to 0357 if you where on 02xx when you started this process, but NOT on 0235
!WARNING! , if you have updated from 0235 to 0351 using "RNS310 - 0235 to 0351.iso", do _NOT_ update to 0357 afterwards!, you may end up with a bricked device !WARNING!
The above warning is unconfirmed, so if you want to risk your device go head, but dont blaim me
It MIGHT work but since the "RNS310 - 0235 to 0351.iso" is custom made, dont risk it. 0351 and 0357 is to my eyes identical in functionality

!WARNING! , if you have updated from 0235 to 0351 using "RNS310 - 0235 to 0351.iso", do _NOT_ update to 0357 afterwards!, you may end up with a bricked device !WARNING!

If you already are on a 03xx firmware when you start, use the "Official Volkswagen 0335 or 0235.iso" to update to 0357
