How often do I have to send EMMs to hd+ 1843 card?
Today my card died and didn't open a sigle channel.
I used mgcamd and after a few moments the picture cleared.
I guess it needs to receive some EMMs occassionally.
What is the time period after which it dies?

There you find the expire date on which the tiers need to be updated.

The tiers didn't expire because the card is valid for at least 10 more months.
The problem was, it stopped giving CWs all of a sudden because I didn't think it needed any EMMs after first activation.

mgcamd did the update just fine with the first EMM.

Thank you. That makes it basically the same as my Digi 1880 card.
I believe they are the same Nagra generation.
I update it every month and it never stops working.
I guess I will do the same with my hd+ card.

May I add that the HD01/HD02 needs only global emm's for keeping it alive, every few (6) weeks? I do open shared and uniques only for the annual update/rejuvenation...

I just leave the card to receive all types of EMMs and set up mgcamd to cache them so it sends EMMs only once.
Overnight, my Digi card receives only around 42 EMMs.

hd+ 1843 card received a total of 31 EMMs during the night.
