Python/Cobra 1.20 is a major compatibility enhancement release. The new version has successfully been tested with a variety of TV sets at an Euronics shop (see below).

Speed Enhancements
With this firmware version, we now measured the fastest channel switching speed among all our contestants (AlphaCrypt, maxcam Twin V2, unicam evo). The difference is only in the area of tens of milliseconds, so nothing to write home about, still it proves that all the useful features do not slow the DeltaCam down at all!
(switching speed has been measured with a Digital Devices Cine S2 V6 / Flex CI for HD+/NAGRA3 channels on the same transponder)
CAID Management
Some STBs/TVs can’t handle the huge amount of CAIDs supported by the DeltaCam. They either do not initialize or properly send the information required for descrambling (e.g. Atemio AM 510 HD TitanNit or TechniSat DigiCorder HD S2 Plus). The current solution is to override the CAID list with a custom one which is possible with the DeltaCam, see Link ist nicht mehr aktiv.. Only enter the CAIDs that the inserted SmartCards and channels you want to open via emu support. To flash the newly created CAID list to the DeltaCam, see
We will now concentrate on making the CAID list dynamic. The DeltaCam will from then on only report the CAIDs supported by the inserted SmartCards and emus for which keys exist, without the need to provide a custom CAID list override.
MTD with Kathrein/TechniSat
We checked MTD with a Kathrein UFS 924. Kathrein/TechniSat restrict MTD to AlphaCrypt/MASCOM modules only (unicam/maxcam do not work either). They will have to add the DeltaCam to their whitelist of MTD-capable CAMs.

- now fixed the whole Panasonic 2013 line of TV sets (also those with 2 CI slots like the Panasonic TX-P50VTW60)
- fixed GigaBlue Quad
- fixed Philips TVs (PFL series)
- some general compatibility enhancements
- improved compatibility with several DVB-C headends (Kopfstationen)
- Sky V14 EMM fixed (CAIDs with recurring ECM/EMM PID have not been taken into account)
- some other fixes, code improvements and enhancements (also resulting in a faster channel switching speed)
