Hallo,

unabhängig von dem Problem mit den wechselnden USB-Adressen bekomme ich das oscam nicht konfiguriert.

Hat leider nicht funktioniert,

die Anleitung im Link scheitert schon daran das es kein /dev/ttyUSB gibt...

ls -l /dev/ttyU*
ls: Zugriff auf /dev/ttyU* nicht möglich: Datei oder Verzeichnis nicht gefunden

Hallo,

nein.

Ich tippe einfach mal das sich in den aktuellen Ubuntu Versionen da nen bischen was getan hat. Denn unter /proc gibts ja auch kein USB Verzeichnis mehr das früher mal existent war und die USB Geräte funktionieren trotzdem...

Über die Hardware-Id und Vendor-ID kannst du jetzt rausfinden welcher Reader welcher ist (Am besten erstmal alle abstecken und nach und nach anstecken, Prozedur jedes mal wiederholen, und ihn direkt per serial in der oscam.server ansprechen.

EDIT: Mir ist gerade eingefallen, dass bei einigen Smargos die Serial einfach 0 war, bis man diese auf Firmware 1.07 updatet!
Also wenn deine iSerial 0 ist, musst du die Smargos patchen :/

Womit wir bei der nächsten Frage sind: Wie bekomme ich die Firmwareversion heraus / diese aktualisiert / angepasst?
Ich habe hier im Forum jede Menge Sachen gefunden, allerdings meldet mein Windows immer das kein Reader dran wäre...

Wenn du 64bit Windows hast, wohl garnicht, da die Treiber afaik nur für Win 32bit sind.

Habe damals extra Win7 32bit auf meinem Laptop installiert um die Firmware zu updaten

... so, nachdem ich mal nen 32bit Windows gefunden habe ist jetzt die 1.05 auf dem Reader. Für die 1.07 habe ich kein Konfigurationsprogramm gefunden. Falls da jemand einen Tip hat...

Was brauchts noch alles damit mein yavdr mit der Karte umgehen kann?

Aber offen war ja auch das Problem mit den wechselnden Adressen des Readers.

Das einzige was nach einer verwertbaren Seriennummer aussieht ist 7700DA4.

Aber weder mit Serial Reader: noch mit Serial: in der oscam.server findet er den Reader...

ist die serial.

diese schreibst du dir am besten auf und legst eine neue udev-Regel an.

Hierzu im Verzeichnis /etc/udev/rules.d/ eine neue datei anlegen
Dateiname "50-usb-reader-custom.rules"
Wichtig ist dabei nur, dass die Zahl (50 in diesem Fall) am Anfang des Dateinamens kleiner ist als die Zahlen der schon vorhandenen Dateien.


Meine (debian wheezy, sollte also nicht soo viel anders sein als bei dir) sieht so aus:

Hallo nsane,

woran erkennst du das? Für mich erkennt Oscam nicht einmal, dass eine Karte da ist. Es wird nicht mal Ansatzweise ein ATR gelesen.
