Philips 42PFL4007H/12 MCA problem

Can someone advise me how to fix the problem? The same cam works on Orton x403p but when inserted to my Philips it is not responding

thx for opening a new new thread.

okay here we go. normally the cam will tell the device (tv,stb) which caids are supported and the device will only send requests for those caids to the cam. This his what your Philips TV does. Some devices ignore those supported caids and just send all request to the cam. This is why your stb (orton/octagon?) works.
Unfortunately the number of supported caids is limited to 26. In this post you can see which firmware supports which caids (Unterstützte CAIDS). Unfortunately 1800 is not one of them.
In this thread the problem of editing the firmware for certain CAIDS is discussed and a way to do the needed changes is explained. Of course it is all in german and since I never had to deal with that problem I can't tell you how it works. Even translating would be difficult for me. All I can tell you is, that it looks pretty difficult
So basically you need to "patch" the 0.2 firmware or find someone who can help or even do it for you. Maybe ask in the linked thread for assistance...

The second possibilty seems to be to use the old 0.1 firmware which supports CAID 1800. It can be found in the Link ist nicht mehr aktiv..
