VCDS - Only Option?

Hi all,

I'm needing to reset/recalibrate the Steering Angle Sensor on a 2009 audi A3 Project I have. From looking around online it appears only VCDS can do this? I have seen some people mention OBDeleven can but cant seem to find absolute confirmation before forking out for that.

Anyone aware of any other tools/software that can do this?

hi! so far I've only been successful with vcds. no one in my age has had success with any other program

OBDELEVEN can definitely do it with newer models. With ODIS and VCP it is also possible.

with which tool did you manage to calibrate your sensor? I can generally recommend VCDS.

Maybe you can try OBDELEVEN as well but i will recommend VDCS. Its more efficiently (in my opinion).

I can only recommend VCDS here as well. The software is mature and you get excellent support. I definitely advise against cheap products. My brother wrecked his A3 with a Chinese knock-off of the VCDS OBD2. Audi then had to repair it for a fee.
