PS3 petiboot + Linux instalieren?

Hallo zusammen

ich habe vor auf meiner ps3 slim linux zu instalieren komme aber irgendwie nicht weiter brauch dringend eure hilfe.

habe auf meiner slim die CFW drauf CFW355-OTHEROS++

bin dann um petipoot auf hdd zu instalieren diese anleitung gefolgt soweit sogut ab Nr 10 komme ich nicht mehr weiter.

   ALL PS3 MODELS ARE SUPPORTED !!!
    
    1. Install my latest CFW
    2. When installation is finished, reboot in Recovery Mode (not the Backup/Restore in XMB) and choose "Restore PS3 System"
    3. Now your GameOS should use only the half of your HDD
       (Currently working on a better approach)
    4. Run setup_flash_for_otheros.pkg (for all PS3 models)
    5. Reboot (It's important to shut down and turn on your PS3)
    6. Store dtbImage.ps3.bin on USB drive, plug it in and run install_otheros.pkg
       (NAND owners should use dtbImage.ps3.bin.minimal, rename it to dtbImage.ps3.bin).
       Try different USB ports if you don't get any beeps.
    7. Run boot_otheros.pkg
    8. Run reboot.pkg (use the package, not manually reboot!)
    9. You should be in petitboot now.
       Exit from CUI to shell or switch to another virtual console.
   10. Run script create_hdd_region.sh
   11. Reboot and boot petitboot again
   12. You should see now new HDD device on petitboot, /dev/ps3dd.
       That's your OtherOS HDD region.
       Don't touch any other HDD regions if you don't know what you are doing. Use only ps3dd
       device for your Linux installation. Use parted to partition it and create GPT partition
       table on ps3dd. GPT is supported by both, Linux and FreeBSD.
    
   Be warned, if you damage your GameOS HDD region, GameOS will reformat HDD and
   remove your Linux HDD region in the process. You have to do the above steps again.
   Don't mess with GameOS HDD region and GameOS won't mess with your OtherOS HDD region.

habe den script im usb reinkopiert direkt auf usb ohne unterordner oder so.


petiboot sartet

folgender menü ist zu sehen:
gameOS
set viedeo mode (um display anzeige anzupassen an das fernseher)
Exit from CUI to shell

wenn ich mit enter auf Exit from CUI to shell bestätige kommt da so ein schwarzes bildschirm wo man was schreiben muss glaube ich.

befehl eingegebn von den script oder so?

wie führe ich den script aus? irgend etwas eintippen oder so?

meine frage ist wie wird dieser script installiert gesartet?

Habe Linux nicht auf der PS3 aber teste mal(ist nicht von mir!):

10. Run script create_hdd_region.sh (Store it e.g. in / and make executable with chmod 755 create_hdd_region.sh)


1. cd /
2. wget tinyurl.com/hdd-region
3. chmod 755 create_hdd_region.sh
4. ./create_hdd_region.sh auto

brauch man vieleicht eine internet verbindung?

ja das sind die pkg und scripts die auch verwende die habe auch von da runtergeladen.

und die anleitung befolgt nur ab schritt 10

Ja für wget tinyurl.com/hdd-region musst du mit dem Netz verbunden sein. Lass das weg.

Kopiere die create_hdd_region.sh vom Stick nach /tmp.

Danach:
1. cd /tmp/
2. chmod a+x create_hdd_region.sh
3. ./create_hdd_region.sh auto

mal ne blöde frage ;o) warum linux auf ner ps3 ? besser wie cfw ? wie siehts da mit ps network aus? der gedanke ist aujedenfall interessant!!

Ich sehe auch nicht unbedingt den nutzen von Linux auf der PS3(ausser vielleicht für Dev´s). Es geht wohl eher darum es zu haben.:aha:

Linux läuft nur auf einer CFW(oder mit alter FW auf einer FAT). Du hast auch keinen Nutzen für PSN mit Linux.
