NEWS! Python/Cobra 1.50!

Changes since version 1.45:

[NEW] Support for Sky S01 SmartCard added (BetaCrypt 1702) (thanks sagseiuk for verifying)
[NEW] Support for TeleColumbus NDS VideoGuard (09AF) SmartCard added (SD channels only) (thanks to user ‘CI+’ for verifying)
Applied Box ID for NDS VideoGuard SmartCards is now displayed in CAM menu (SmartCard/SIM Card Info > NDS CAS Menu)
Stricter CAM menu rules (thanks örlgrey and crazysamy for reporting)
- Limited number of characters per line (fixes certain submenus not showing with certain languages on Humax)
- Limited number of rows per page (fixes too many tiers with NDS VideoGuard SmartCards on Kathrein)
Dynamic CAID Management (see

- Hopefully improved compatibility with TVs/STBs that only support a limited number of CAIDs
- Improved channel switching speed as Auto ECM has to loop through less PIDs

Fixed crash of the in-CAM key editor with too long keys (e.g. Digitürk)

I don't get that comment. There is actually no restriction on MTD for emu and also not for 090F. So what is your experience with it? What did you try with which hardware?

yes i tried dvb-s to dvb-c transmodulator , i only get 2 sids thru no more ..even still some drop outs to 1 sid only from time to time , the idea is to get all transponder working ...is emu limited do MTD4 only ?? or can we process the whole transponder?? ..thanx for your interest

What happens when you set the 3rd SID? Latency issues are pretty common for NDS VideoGuard if the deadline can't be met. You would experience very short dropouts (in the area of milliseconds) then. So is this the case? Or does the 3rd channel not work at all? What happens to the other 2 then?

Yes, 4 channels is currently the limit. The HW can theoretically do 32 PIDs at 100mbps max. So if all channels on a transponder combined are within those limits, it would theoretically be possible. But the FW currently only supports up to 4 PMTs (or 4 SIDs to the upper layers).

hi ,iv just sent you a PM with the details ,, it only does 2 no 3rd sid possible ,, but the most strange thing doing another set of tests i can open all the regional channels on that transponder all in the same time (about 11 SIDs) !!

The PN did not give me the answer either . So when setting the 3rd SID, does nothing work anymore? Or do 2 of those 3 channels at least work?

Then all channels use the same ECM PID and your device creates a single PMT with all A/V PIDs inside. Then this is possible.

when i set the 3rd sid only 2 working ..still the 2nd sid drops from time to time..i have all emms blocked and set static CAID for 090F
