    @Fritz987 dont need original sd maps at all. just start radio once is on insert sd with script and reboot .you have your full backup so dont need worry easy to restore back to original state

    @Fritz987 correct rpkpsh4.bin file is NOT written back otherwise modified fec.db will not be accepted .you descibed correct procedure and yes i do know you restored it doesnt matter pase.bat script will be executed durnig booting navigation. Remove maps sd and insert one with 2 files then hard...

    @Fritz987 unzip these 2 files on fat32 sd card let unit fully boot insert slot 1 then reboot with 3 buttons . check fecs in rem after

    @Fritz987 "The signature of \SDCard0\ metainfo2.txt is incorrect." means unit already patched and rpkpsh4.bin file already removed from unit . just edit your fec.db file you have from your backup and load it back to your unit using pase.bat script

    no dont worry missing fec do this 2 files but make sure you don't mix up pase.bat files they are diferrent unzip on sd and do same insert in sd1 and reboot with 3 buttons

    @athstavr24 let unit fully boot put this 2 files on sd insert in slot 1 and reboot with 3 buttons . check fecs in red menu

    @athstavr24 use this it will create backup on sd send it here I can edit your fec.db and you can load it back it is safest way to do it

    RPKPSH4.BIN is unique file with vcrn and public key cant do anything without it at least I have never managed to do it tried also wfrom different unit and it doesnt work there is maybe someone who know more but these units defo not worth to hassle of update nothing new there anyway

    wndows and choose fat32 format

    you already used activator and deleted rpkpsh4.bin file from system need restore it if you have backup otherwise no possible to update
