Anyone ever replaced just the magnetic ring on a VAG wheel bearing, rather than the whole bearing/sensor?
Certain I have a Sensor/Ring issue on an 09 A3 8P - but noticed on my searches you can buy just the ring:
Its probably more work to do this as the bearing are the all in one hub so straight off and back on again, so wondering if theres an advantage on just replacing the ring.
