The box has about 4MB free after a virgin install, it's enough to run a softcam, and some other small plugins.
Keep in mind the free space is limited and don't go wild on installing plugins.
No, the dm500hd/dm800/dm800se have barely enough storage free to run the image. Updating will cause insufficient disk space and will possible break your installation. On the other hand, there are no updates pushed to the feed server, so yes you can update now, but nothing will happen :innocent:
The DM800 flash size is too small for the current OpenPli versions.
Maybe it's possible to squeeze it in somehow, but the amount of time this will take to develop simply isn't worth it.
The box was introduced in 2008, so I think it already did have a great life span !
