F5/F6 Karte & Activator für Ford Sync2 (MyFordTouch)

have U notice any improvents of system with sync 3.10 compare to 3.8?
 
Not for me. I bought my (used) car an upgraded immediately to 3.10. My friend has a Focus an had problems with the illumination of the buttons. Sometimes it doesn't work with verison 3.8. This bug should be fixed. Unfortunately I don't have a version history.

Kann man den erstellten SdCard.key auch auf einer anderen , baugleichen SD-Karte benutzen ?
Hab meine F6 im August letzten Jahres erstellt und bräuchte nun eine zweite .
 
Nein. Die ID der jeweiligen Karte wird in der .key Datei gespeichert. Wenn Du die Datei auf eine neue Karte kopierst passen die IDs der Karte und in der .key Datei nicht zusammen. Also - frische Karte - frische .key Datei erzeugen. Den Rest kann man so kopieren.
 
I have prepared new microSD card (formatted at win10 with exFAT with adapter for standard SD), I used microSD in my android phone with fordActivator. After that I inserted microSD into adapter and put into PC again. Next step it was removing every file on SD except SdCard.key.
...Next step was copying every file to main directory of Sd card (same level like SdCard.key). When everything was copied I removed my original F5 navigation card from the slot in the car and replace it with new microSd card with the F6 navigation. The information of Sync was that the system can't read the new card...
My sync is 3.08.
Where is fault?
- mistake while preparing new sd card?
- copied files into bad directories?
- old version of sync?
- incompatible card?
- fault while installation new card?
- FordActivator I used on samsung s8, some limitation of permissions at Android Oreo?

I was trying read my original F5 navi in PC also - it was impossible to read, but in the car old navi works, no any problem with read data by sync...
strange...

To be honest ... I don't have any usefull ideas.
But I'm a little bit surprised. You wrote that you can't see the content of your F5 card on your PC? Because I had the idea to copy the F5 content from your original card to your freshly prepared card. So you could check if the keyfile is correct and the card itself is working in your car. And you could compare the folder tree of your F5 card with the new one. Maybe you could test the card in another PC.
Unfortunately I am at my wit's end.
 
yes, for me it's strange also, I was trying read oryginal F5 in internal card reader in my laptop and with card reader connected to usb port. In both cases with same result - without success...
I don't have any problems to read any another sd card by card reader with usb slot or directly in builded card reader..
How to check keyfile?

Problem solved, procedure and everything was made without any mistake.
There was incomaptibilty of my microSd card. With another card everything start without any issues.

So, I am waiting for F7 versions of the maps now... has anybody info about this update?

I'm not sure that we get new F7 maps for Sync2, because auf this ...

hmm, yes that is not so optimistic,
but I hope still
maybe will be possible to adaptate maps from sync3..
I bought new car 2 years ago, so hope for a support for next few years...

after upgrade from F5 to F6 I notice some improvement, but sometimes.... look below photo ....
If they will not prepare new F7 version of the map I will be very unsatisfied....
