Q: Welche Version solllte ich installieren?
A: Für Ottonormalverbraucher ist die Version CEX (entspricht der Retail OFW) vorgesehen.

Q: Wie kann ich die FW installieren, wenn ich bereits eine CFW (Evilnat, Rogero, Rebug etc.) installiert habe?
A: Das Update kann in diesem Fall einfach mit einem USB-Stick (in FAT32 formatiert) über das XMB installiert werden, unabhängig von der bereits installierten Version.

Q: Wie kann ich die FW installieren, wenn ich noch die Originalfirmware (OFW) installiert habe?
A: Bei einer OFW höher als Version 3.55 muss zuvor zwingend ein Downgrade durchgeführt werden, das geht relativ einfach online. Für weitere Infos einfach mal das www nach bguerville's PS3 Toolset durchsuchen.

Q: Wann benötige ich die NoBT / NoBD Versionen?
A: Bei der Installation eines Updates prüft die PS3, ob alles in Ordnung ist. Gibt es Probleme mit den o.g. Geräten, verweigert die PS3 ein Update. Ihr solltet es in jedem Fall immer zuerst mit der normalen Version (ohne Zusätze) probieren. Falls es einen Fehler gibt kann eine entsprechend andere Version ausgewält werden.
