    Hallo zusammen,

    das Forum hat mir schon in vielen Fällen super geholfen - diesmal benötige eure Unterstützung bei folgendem Thema:

    Meine Synology DS213+ mit DSM 4.2 zeigt den Sundtek SkyTV Ultimate III nicht unter den USB-Geräten. Nun habe ich mal gelesen, dass oscam keine camd.socket erzeugt, sollte die HW nicht präsent sein. Tatsächlich wird sie mir weder via lsusb noch dmesg angezeigt.
    TVheadend ist eingerichtet und läuft mit den unverschlüsselten Sendern problemlos. Bzgl. oscam habe ich inzwischen einiges versucht (spk von synocommunity und div. crosscompiling Versionen).

    Bei tvheadend würde ich an deiner Stelle mit newcamd arbeiten. das protokoll wird von oscam und tvheadend unterstützt.
    Du brauchst jedoch für jede caid einen extra port.

    Hi, danke für dein schnelles feedback. Werde mich mal mit dem Thema newcamd auseinandersetzen.
    Wie stehts generell mit dem fehlenden USB-Gerät, hast du dafür eine Erklärung? Bspw. fehlende oder falsche Treiber, kernel module...

    Das mit dem fehlenden usbgerät ist merkwürdig.

    FRONTEND: /dev/dvb/adapter0/frontend0

    Dieser Ordner sollte da sein. Ich kenne das besagte Problem auf wlanwoutern mit den sundtek sticks.
    Da gab es irgendwie nen trick mit dem libary preload beim oscam start. ggf hilft es auch oscam auf dem nas selbst zu kompilieren.
    Natürlich nur sofern das auf der Plattform machbar ist.
    Dabei wird diese mediaclient libary erkannt. Ohne diese findet oscam das Gerät nicht.

    Aber ich rate dennoch davon ab, da dvbapi und tvheadend bei mir nie auf dauer zufriedenstellend funktionierte.
    Newcamd ist da sehr zuverlässig.

    Dann kann es sein das du bei erschlüsselten Sendern im ton so ein artefakt hörst von Zeit zu Zeit.
    Das ist auf mips und arm definitiv so. Bei deinem ppc weiß ich es jedoch nicht.
    Sollte das so sein hau das hier mal in die Kommandozeile.

    /bin/echo 2 > /proc/cpu/alignment

    Wenn es hilft einfach mal mit in das tvheadend start script.
