[FONT=&quot]Besitzer einer Grafikkarte mit Radeon-HD Grafikchip (ab Radeon HD 2400 Series bis ATI Radeon HD 5900 Series) können die Catalyst-Treiber in der neuen Version 10.4 herunterladen. Neu hinzu kommt die Unterstützung für H.264 Level 5.1. Die Catalyst-Treiber können nunmehr 5.1-Level-Streams auf allen unterstützten Geräten abspielen. Außerdem wird die Unterstützung für die Wiedergabe von Inhalten mit hoher Auflösung (4.096 x 2.048) hinzugefügt.<o

[FONT=&quot]Mit den neuen Catalyst-Treibern wird unter Windows 7 auch der mit den Catalyst-Treibern mitgelieferte Videokonverter verbessert. Die Verbesserungen betreffen sowohl die Performance des Konverters, als auch die Unterstützung neuer Formate. Dazu gehören die Formate H.264, MTS und WMV9 (Complex profile). Über das Catalyst Control Center lässt sich nun die GPU-Beschleunigung für den Videokonverter aktivieren und deaktivieren.<o

[FONT=&quot]Zusätzlich beheben die neuen Treiber Bugs und verbessern die Performance bei diversen Spielen, wie etwa Stalker: Clear Sky, Battlefield 2: Bad Company und Necrovision.<o
